- test drove vehicle after sitting for several hours, found slight noise when first moving after cold start. raised vehicle and checked suspension and rotating tires, some noise at wheels due to brake dust build up in drum brakes and brakes being out of adjustment. no other noises heard at this time, suspension and undercarriage all in very good condition. necessary to remove rear brake drums, clean brake shoe assy. and backing plates with brake clean solution. Sand brake shoes to remove any glazing of friction material, adjust brake shoes. Clean and paint outside of drums, they were getting rust build up on outside surfaces, sand inside soe surface of drums to eliminate any glazing.
